ACK Error

This error typically populates on the POS. The message means the command that the POS is sending to the terminal is not being acknowledged. It is possible the the communication times out before the terminal has a chance to receive it.
  1. Have the POS provider increase the time it takes for the POS to communicate to the terminal
  2. Verify the terminal does not have intermittent connectivity.
  3. Be sure the terminal is on the idle screen or main screen when the command is being sent.
  4. If it still does not work reboot the terminal then reattempt the function the customer was trying to do i.e. close the batch or process the transaction.
