Auto Batch

Auto Batch

Auto Batch: The terminal controls the batching. Pre-authorizations are sent to the host on each transaction. Once the transactions are batched the Host completes the transaction. Terminals can be set up to auto batch at specific times.

  1. Inform the caller once you change the Auto Batch time it will take 24hrs to take effect. If they manually batch during the time it will push the Auto Batch back another 24hrs.
  2. Advise them not to batch today and the terminal will auto batch tomorrow for all the transactions.

Must complete these to Auto Batch

  1. Start Time
  2. End Time: At least 30 minutes after the Start Time
  3. Interval for Auto Dial: can be set to 3 or 5 (Terminal will attempt to batch every 3 or 5 minutes during their start to end time)

Auto Batch is located on the Host Tab in the file. The change can be made in the terminal, but it will revert to its last download settings during the health report. If it is not changed in the file build.
