Auto Detect Error - PIN pad

Auto-Detect Errors occur from the PIN Pad such as an SP20v4 or SP30s mono cable connecting to a terminal like an S80/A80. To resolve the issue, make sure that the PIN Pad Type is set to External and the Contactless Module/External Card Reader is on Auto.

In the traditional terminal, to set the contactless module to auto:

1.     MENU

2.     Operation Settings

3.     Peripherals

4.     Ext. Card Reader/Contactless Module

5.     Auto

For setting up the PIN Pad type to External PIN Pad:

1.     MENU

2.     System Settings

3.     PIN Pad Type

4.     External PIN Pad

In android terminals, to set the contactless module to auto:

1.     FUNC

2.     Settings

3.     System Settings

4.     External Card Reader

5.     Auto

For setting up the PIN Pad type to External PIN Pad:

1.     FUNC
