First Data Processing

  1. All transactions must be run as CREDIT. The chip will determine if the card uses a Debit PIN. 
  2. If a customer wants to bypass their PIN and run the transaction as credit they will need to press the GREEN/ENTER button on the terminal to bypass the PIN. 

Disable/Enable PIN Bypass in the file

  1. Go to the EMV Tab
  2. Review Subsection Credit EMV Parameters and Debit EMV Parameters
  3. Select your preferred option
    1. Disabled
    2. User Bypass
    3. Auto Bypass
