S920L: Connect Issue/Radio Init/ Wifi Init
S920 Workaround is Attached if needed
Use the Back Menu to connect to your SIM Card or Wifi. The preferred SIM Card provider is T-Mobile. We can not guarantee the service with any other provider.
- Turn off the terminal
- Turn on the terminal
- Press 2 repeatedly until screen display reads Main Menu
- Tap Select System Config and enter the password 123456
- Tap Wireless, then tap Switch
- Press Enter to Open
- Press Red X to exit Switch Menu
- At the prompt for "Quit TMS?" choose "Yes"
- Do not quit the setup. Proceed to the correct proceedure for Wireless or Wifi.
- For Wireless
- Select APN
- Enter APN for the wireless carrier, example: fast.t.mobile.com
- Press Enter to Bypass the password
- When you are back on the Wireless Screen Press the Red X to exit to the Main Menu
- Press Red X to exit Main Menu
- The screen should say Quit TM?
- Press Enter for Yes
- The terminal will reboot and connect over wireless.
- If it does not connect to to wifi go into the Menu > Communications > Main Comm > Wireless > Wireless Parameters >
Wifi
- After you put in the Password for System Config "123456"
- Tap Wifi
- Tap AutoSet
- Select your Wifi and enter the password. The password is Case Sensitive
- Once it is connected press the RED X until you see Quit TMS?
- Press Enter for Yes
- The terminal will reboot and connect to Wifi
- If it does not connect to to wifi go into the Menu > Communications > Main Comm > Wifi > Wifi Parameters >
Do NOT power off the terminal or you will need to go through the steps again.
