S920 Connect Issue

S920L: Connect Issue/Radio Init/ Wifi Init

S920 Workaround is Attached if needed
Use the Back Menu to connect to your SIM Card or Wifi. The preferred SIM Card provider is T-Mobile. We can not guarantee the service with any other provider. 

Access the Back Menu (OS Menu)

  1. Turn off the terminal
  2. Turn on the terminal
  3. Press 2 repeatedly until screen display reads Main Menu
  4. Tap Select System Config and enter the password 123456
  5. Tap Wireless, then tap Switch
  6. Press Enter to Open
  7. Press Red X to exit Switch Menu
  8. At the prompt for "Quit TMS?" choose "Yes"
  9. Do not quit the setup.  Proceed to the correct proceedure for Wireless or Wifi.

  1. For Wireless

  1. Select APN
  2. Enter APN for the wireless carrier, example: fast.t.mobile.com
  3. Press Enter to Bypass the password
  4. When you are back on the Wireless Screen Press the  Red X to exit to the Main Menu
  5. Press Red X to exit Main Menu
  6. The screen should say Quit TM?
  7. Press Enter for Yes
  8. The terminal will reboot and connect over wireless.
  9. If it does not connect to to wifi go into the Menu > Communications > Main Comm > Wireless > Wireless Parameters >

Wifi

  1. After you put in the Password for System Config "123456"
  2. Tap Wifi
  3. Tap AutoSet
  4. Select your Wifi and enter the password. The password is Case Sensitive
  5. Once it is connected press the RED X until you see Quit TMS?
  6. Press Enter for Yes
  7. The terminal will reboot and connect to Wifi
  8. If it does not connect to to wifi go into the Menu > Communications > Main Comm > Wifi > Wifi Parameters >

Do NOT power off the terminal or you will need to go through the steps again.
