DHCP/Static IP

Internet routing can be dynamic or static IP.  If the customer is using a Static IP address, they need to disable DHCP in a file on the communications tab. Capture all of the IP addresses needed for the Static IP connection. 

  1. Local IP
  2. Subnet Mask
  3. Gateway IP
  4. DNS IP


This can also be set in the terminal by going to:

 Menu > Communication > LAN Parameters > LAN Type > Select DHCP or Static

Then enter into the remaining IP information listed on the terminal.
  1. Local IP
  2. Subnet Mask
  3. Gateway IP
  4. DNS IP
