Remove the SAM Cover in order to check the power cable connection:
For the S300-000-363-01NA model:

2. Inspect Pins
- This view shows the back of the terminal with the removed SAM cover and the power cable removed.
- If one of pins is bent or the connection is not tight, these factors can cause issues such as a Check LAN Cable error message.
- The pins need to be straight. If one or more of the pins is bent, the terminal user can gently straighten the pins and plug the connector back in.
- If one or more pins are damaged or missing, the user must RMA the terminal.
3. Inspect Connector|
- The S300 power cable has a dongle that attaches to the back of the S300 via a 14-pin connector.
- Inspect the cable connection and pins to ensure there is not debris or foreign objects interfering with the connection.
4. Re-seat Connector
- If the terminal user tried other means to correct a Check LAN Cable error message and those attempts did not work, the user can try re-seating the cable and see if this resolves the issue.
