Signature Limits/ Fast Payment Services

Fast Payment Services: Allows you to set transaction limitations on the Swipe transactions. You can only set signature limits for swipe.

-         Fast pay is found under the Industry tab in the file build

             -      PAX does not recommend using "Fast Payment Services" because of the risk of loss by the merchant.  Transactions under the threshold do not authorize until the batch closes, so there is a risk that they will be declined at that time.

EMV Signature Limits:  EMV transactions do not allow signature limits you either request a signature for ALL transactions or none. 

EMV Signature: EMV is the most secure form of payment so if the merchant has EMV signature enabled, and the receipt does not have a signature line this means the Bank does not require one. It is up to the Bank if they want to capture a signature or not on EMV transactions.

-          Additionally: the terminal cannot force a signature on any transaction if the card issuing bank does not require a signature for that transaction
