If you are experiencing issues with your terminal’s encryption:
Resellers/ISO/ISV: If you do not have the ability to provide terminals
with Key Injections you must reach out to the Distributor.

The PIN Debit key is always injected on the
"first" key index, regardless if it starts at "0" or
"1".
- The Data Key is always injected on the
"second" index.
- You can check PED Key Status on your
Paxstore file under Terminal Details
- TDES/DUKPT if you can see that on PED Key
Status it means your device is encrypted
- Slot 001, PIN Encryption meaning for PIN
debit and EBT
- Slot 002, Data Encryption meaning for PIN
Debit, EBT and Transaction with P2PE
If you don't see TDES/DUKPT
it means your device is not encrypted for the payment host.
