Local Duplicate Check and Local Duplicate Check for ECR Reference Number
Local Duplicate Check
- If enabled, it prompts the user that the transaction currently being processed is a duplicate of the most recent transaction that was made on the device (same card, same amount).
- If disabled, it will allow all transactions to be completed even if there are 2 consecutive transactions processed on the device.
Local Duplicate Check for ECR Reference Number
- It functions the same way as Local Duplicate Check works, but its identifier for the transaction is the reference number provided by the ECR connectivity (POS system).
The terminal checks the EDC Type, Trans Type, Trans Amount, PAN, and Expiration Date. ECR Ref is configurable
