  1. Can I make the terminal prompt if I wanted it to print out a customer receipt?

  2. Can I increase the time for the Customer Copy prompt?

    1. Unfortunately, there is no settings within the terminal or the file that can help increase the time for the Customer Copy prompt.

  • Can I remove the extra US Debit information at the bottom of the receipt?
    • First Data certified the application to print this information at the bottom of the receipt and PAX can not remove it. ISOs can submit a request to sales@pax.us to have this data removed from the next release.
  • Why do receipts print as a Credit transaction when the customer used their debit PIN?
    • This typically happens when using a First Data application. The preprint option needs to be Disabled in BroadPOS
    • Preprint: This feature starts printing the receipt based on the EDC selected before the transaction is completed (First Data initiates all transactions as a Credit EDC).
