S920 Radio Init Workaround


S920 Radio Init/Wifi Init Errors



The preferred SIM Card provider is T-Mobile. We can not guarantee the service with any other provider. 
 

Use the following steps to work around this error:

Access the Back Menu by rebooting the terminal

While it’s booting press the “2” button repeatedly until the screen display Main Menu

Go into System Config enter the password 123456

For Radio Init Error:  Press “3” for wireless


Press Switch, then Enter (Green Button) to Open


Go to APN and enter the APN for the wireless carrier 

Terminal will connect to the SIM card

For Wifi Init Error: Press “4” for Wifi


Press Auto Connect and Open

Press AutoSet, search for your Network and enter the password

Terminal will connect to WiFi

Press the Cancel button (Red X) until it says “Quit TM”


Press "Yes", or the Green button for "YES."


The terminal will reboot and move pass the Radio/Wifi Init Error.
