Integration Process

If you are interested in implementing integration for your reseller account, please email Sales@pax.us for instructions on the process.

Which PAX devices can be integrated with a POS device (ECR, computer, etc.) – S300, SP30s., D220, Px7, and Q30?  Some standalone terminals such as S500 and S920 can be assigned an integration application so that they also work as integrated terminals.

PAX is continually working on new devices.  For up-to-date information on available devices, please see https://www.pax.us/products/ or email our Sales Team at sales@pax.us.

Can Android devices be integrated? If you have questions about integrating an Android device, please contact our sales department.

How does the POS communicate with the processing host when integration terminals are employed? – The POS doesn’t communicate with the processing host. The only communication it has is with the PAX device. The PAX-integrated terminal handles the host communications.

How does the integration process work?  You will need to have an account on the PAX Developer Portal for resources on how to implement the integration process.  If you are also designing Android applications, you will need developer access to PAXSTORE.

Once the integration process is complete, you will need access to PAXSTORE in order to set up the payment application so it will download to the terminal.
